What we build
We don't just build decks — we plan the whole outdoor experience. Cooking, gathering, fire, light, shade. The deck is the floor; the rest is what makes you stay.

Before we break ground
Every project begins with a custom 3D rendering — yours to walk through, rotate, and see at sunrise, sunset, and night before a single board is cut. Most clients change something in the render. Almost nobody changes anything once we build.

90-minute home visit. Yard tour, photo survey, your wishlist. Sketches that night.

Custom 3D walkthrough at sunrise, sunset, and night. Pick your boards in your light.

We pull the permits and HOA. Our crew, our trucks, daily clean-up. 2–4 week build.

25-year material warranty + lifetime workmanship. We come back for the seasonal check.

I started Northshore in 2014 after fifteen years framing for one of the bigger regional deck builders. Decks were my hobby before they were my career — I've personally built every kind, from a $4K ground-level cedar to a $200K rooftop ipe.
Outdoor living is the most personal addition you'll make to your house. It's where you'll eat birthday dinners, watch fireflies, tell your kids hard news. I think it deserves more thought than the inside-the-house projects usually get. That's what we sell — thought, not just lumber.
