Hi, I'm Sarah.

I started Cypress in 2008 after a decade designing showrooms for one of the big regional dealers. I left because I watched too many homeowners get sold the wrong floor, beautiful samples in fluorescent lighting, terrible in their actual house.

We do it differently. The samples come to your home. We listen for how you actually live. And we'd rather lose the sale than put a hardwood under a 90-pound retriever puppy. Floors should outlast the trend that sold them.
